Between Protection and Harassment

The main theme about this work is the antagonism between protection and harassment.
Although gasmasks are constructed for protection, you associate them with war, nuclear contamination and lethal gas.
Gasmasks show a kind of passive aggressivity.

You can see the technical development of almost 100 years, but the fundamental human problems,
like war and pollution stay the same.

I am also interested in “form follows function products“.

It is also about the separation of living spaces.
On one side the space of the observer, and on the other side the space behind the mask.
And it gives you the feeling of woundness.
